The small device allows you to mine Bitcoin from home and learn everything about the actual mining process without having to invest thousands of euros.
The NerdMiner runs on an ESP32 microcontroller with a 1.9 inch LCD display and consumes just 1W. The hashrate (computing power) has been around 75 - 77 KH/s since the latest update.
The screen can be switched on and off or switched between different views using two buttons. A matching pedestal is supplied with each NerdMiner. The NerdMiner can be placed magnetically on the pedestal and is thereby slightly tilted, which enables better reading.
Of course, you can also simply use the NerdMiner v2 as a desk gadget, because it is an absolute eye-catcher thanks to the display and the subtle side lighting.
With NerdMiner you always have the most important blockchain information in view.
Among other things, the following is shown on the display:
- The current hashing speed of the Nerd Miner.
- The time.
- The height of the current block in the Bitcoin blockchain.
- The current hashrate of the entire Bitcoin network. That is, the hashrate of all miners worldwide combined.
- The current level of difficulty in Bitcoin mining. This means that the mining difficulty can be used to determine how complex it is to calculate a new Bitcoin block.
- the number of blocks until the next Bitcoin halving.
In addition, you have the (small) chance of mining a Bitcoin block.
All NerdMiners undergo a short functional test before delivery. All you have to do is enter the WiFi and a Bitcoin address and you can start mining.

Ichbhabe mich auf die suche nach einem Nerdminer V2 gemacht und bin bei Makerversum hängen geblieben. Ware nach Wunsch bestellt und gewartet. Ja es hat ein wenig gedauert aber er kam noch vor den genannten Datum an. Und was soll ich sagen, gute Qualität und auch das mitgelieferte USB C Kabel von Anker war eine Überraschung. Mitgeliefert wurde auch eine Anleitung zur Inbetriebnahme die gut zu verstehen ist. Alles im ganzen bin sehr positiv überrascht und bin sehr zufrieden.

Lieferung hat ein bisschen gedauert, aber glaube sollte nicht die Regel sein.
